Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of our products, purchases are generally non-refundable once the digital content has been supplied or access to it has begun.
Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days.
However, for digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, this right of withdrawal is lost once the supply of the digital content begins, provided that you have:
- expressly consented to the supply of the digital content beginning before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period; and
- expressly acknowledged that, by doing so, you lose your right of withdrawal.
Where you provide this consent and acknowledgment during checkout and the supply of the digital content begins, you will no longer have a right to cancel the purchase or request a refund simply because you have changed your mind.
License & Permitted Use
When you purchase a digital product from Le Bureau & Co, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the product for your personal or business purposes.
The purchase grants you the right to use the product within the scope for which it was purchased. Where a product is used by a team, agency, studio or organisation, it may be used by multiple members of that same team for the purchaser’s internal personal or business purposes, unless otherwise stated for a particular product.
The licence does not transfer ownership of the product or any underlying intellectual property. All intellectual property rights in the product, including its templates, designs, layouts, systems, written content, graphics, documentation and other original materials, remain with Le Bureau & Co or the relevant rights holder.
You may, where applicable:
- use the product for your own personal or business activities;
- customise, edit, adapt and modify the product for your own use;
- allow members of your own team or organisation to access and use the product for your internal purposes; and
- create working copies or adaptations that are reasonably necessary for your own permitted use of the product.
You may not, without our prior written permission:
- sell, resell, sublicense, assign, transfer, distribute or otherwise commercially exploit the product or your licence to use it;
- transfer your licence or purchased product to another person, business, organisation or client;
- share the product publicly or make it available for download by third parties;
- provide the product to clients, customers or other third parties for their independent use;
- reproduce or distribute the product as a standalone template, resource, course, product or other commercial offering;
- use the product or substantial portions of it to create or develop a competing product or service for sale or distribution;
- claim ownership of the product or its underlying intellectual property; or
- remove or alter any copyright, attribution, trademark or other proprietary notices contained in the product.
Internal use by members of the same team or organisation does not constitute a transfer of the licence, provided that the product remains under the control of the original purchaser and is used solely for that purchaser’s permitted personal or business purposes.
A purchase does not grant the right to create separate copies or licences for other businesses, clients, organisations or unrelated users. If a product is intended to be used independently by another business, organisation or third party, a separate purchase or licence may be required.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe that a product has been shared, redistributed, resold, transferred or otherwise used in breach of these licensing terms.
Nothing in these licensing terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
